Whendssdday?

Don't ask about the title. I have no idea. Today was a nothing day. Lots of downloading, read Brave New World, listened to some William Orbit, and some ORB, went to my first guitar lesson, and my hands hurt, which is no big surprise. I'll play 'til my hands bleed!

Rawk

I've been working a lot lately. Sunday: 10 hrs. Monday was my day off; today, I worked from 10:15am (woke up at 9:50 eek) until 5:15pm. I bought a day planner, and less recently, the new Led Zepplin 3 disc live set, How the West Was Won. Also, I got a free domain name for my website: http://www.powerundeniable.tk. So use that if you wish. I watched Spirited Away at Tamara's house. Danny came over shortly after that, and we finished up the movie, ate some food, and watched MC Pee Pants. Also, I worked out.

Here are some Lyrics from the above mentioned song:
(Scottish Fiction)
It isn't in the mirror, it isn't on the page
It's a red hearted vibration
Pushing through the walls of dark imagination
Finding no equation
There's a red road rage,
But it's not road rage
It's asylum seekers engulfed by a grudge

Scottish friction, Scottish friction

It isn't in the castle, it isn't in the mist
It's a calling of the waters as they break to show
The new black death with reactors aglow
Do you think your security will keep you in purity
You will not shake us off
Above or below

Scottish friction, Scottish friction

Work, Play, and some more Play

Friday I worked from 11:15-6:00pm. Taryn was working, as were Ben, Tom, Nich and Tim. It was on the whole, pretty enjoyable, as much as work can possibly be. I did a lot of not working and started up my uber fan club. After work, I went to Nick, Kevin, Zupan, etc's Ultimate Frisbee game. They lost, but they were dressed tribally (especially Fran and Grant). I engaged in a slap fight with Grant and procdeeded to get my ass whooped. My back was screaming with pain for a good ten minutes. After that, we went to Amy Renk's house, which is easily the most monstrous house Living area for ten (8 baths ~30 closets), 2 guest rooms a hot tub, intercom system, 3 floors, a latticework driveway, a huge boat, an insane boat house, button activated lights taht graduallly fade on and off.

After that, I went to Danny's LAN, and packed up at three.

This morning, I woke up at 11, and went to the bank, opened a checking account, and then went to Epicenterlan. At Epi-Lan, I won a Navy backpack for taking 1st place in the Warcraft III Frozen Throne Tourney. I also had lunch w/ Tamara. Rather, she came, picked me up, we went to Noodles, and she watched me eat lunch. Now That's friendship (using your friends to accomplish your ends.

I Want Candy

Here's a lil' snippett:
I want candy
bubblegum or taffy
Skip to the sweet shop with my sweetheart Sandy
Got my pennies saved so I'm a sugar daddy
I'm her Hume Cronyn she's my Jessica Tandy
I want candy

I'll use a giant drill
Bore it straight into hell
Releasin ancient demons from a
sleeper of a spell
So they can walk upon the earth
And get resituated
And hock the diet pills

Surprise Work

Yeah, so I got the call this morning for an extra shift: 2:00-close. I worked. It was ok. Somewhat fun especially when the crusty old jagons left and I could then goof off.

French Doughnuts

Where to start... ok, SOAR ended thursday. Friday I worked, saw Bad Boys II (pretty mediocre). Saturday, we (Tamara, Jerome, Kathleen, Rita, myself) went to Chicago to the Shedd Aquarium. Traffic was a nightmare to say the least. Crossing five lanes of traffic in a 500ft. span is decidedly quite difficult. We ate lunch at the Cheese Cake factory, which was very expensive ($6.25 per slice). Also, we visited IKEA near Schaumburg, IL, a gigantic Housewares + Domestics store that sells products from Sweden and for very low prices. We got home at 11:30pm, and I lifted weights and went to bed. Today, I woke up late for the first time in awhile, showered, went to Ward Brodt, went home, got my Comp USA gift cert., went out to Comp USA, bought a Creative Labs 128mb Mubo (Flash Drive + mp3 player), went home. My mom bought me a guitar (acoutic-electric), and the entire family got new Cell Phones (woot).

SOAR no more, thankfully

Today concluded SOAR at UW Madison, where I am attending college (as if you didn't know). I registered for my courses, which include: Chem 103, Spanish 203, English 168 (Postmodern Lit), and Math 221 (Calc). So anyway, that's done. I took a long nap, read some Patriot Games

Tues-Wed.

Oook. So, Tuesday the Lan continued. I packed up my stuff around 1:30am and went running in the huge thunderstorm w/ Aurie, Danny, and Reebz. So, I got home around 2am, woke up at 8:45 for work at 9:45, worked until 3:45 (ate cold pizza for lunch mmm...), went to Borders, bought 3 books: Nickel And Dimed, Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace, and the Cambridge Companion to Nietzsche. Then I went home, read, went to Pirates of the Caribbean, and got to bed around 1:30 for SOAR (Student Orientation Advisement and Registration) at the UW, which lasted until 9:15 tonight and began at 8:30am. I had to take placement tests today. I thought I did quite well. Anyway, it was long, and I'm tired.

Sunday-Mon

Well, Sunday I worked from 10-3:15, and got sent home early. Luckily we had more than enough cart attendants. Upon arriving home, I got word from Greg that there was to be a LAN at Danny's starting at 7. Things didn't get off the ground right away, so I spent some time at Greg's. Eventually Danny, Reebz, Aurie, Brett Lien and Marcus showed up. Reebz, Aurie, Greg, and myself went to Woodman's to get a huge thing of honey roasted peanuts, some lil' debbies, a nail clippers, and I can't remember what else. Good times. Then we went to Taco Bell, where we had problems with change and getting the right sauces. I had two gorditas. They were tasty. We played a fair amount of EOD, Frozen Throne and Crimsonland. I hit the sack at around 3:45am, and woke up around 8:45 for work, which was ok (cart attendant). It was pizza day at Target, so lunch was pretty good...and free. After that, I went to my old babysitter's house, and then back to the LAN for some Frozen Throne and Crimsonland. Then I went home to take care of some crap, came back (Danny isn't back from his errand yet) and blogged. Hopefully Reebz an dDanny will show up soon.

Back From the Dells

Okay, so I went up to the Dells Friday, ate, stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge, which was nice. Saturday, I ate breakfast at Great Wolf. I had a waffle with a large Wolf stamped in the middle. It was quite tasty; light, fluffy and sweet. I also had a huge cinnamon role-which was also really good-but I couldn't finish it all. I spent most of the day at Noah's Ark, rode numerous rides, had a good time. I really enjoyed Stingray. Noah's Great Adventure was pretty triptastic, kind of like a Syd Barret / Pink Floyd Album. We ate dinner at the Moose Jaw Brew Pub. I ordered a half rack of ribs, with baked potato and French onion soup; again, quite tasty. After that, I played some video games in the arcade in the basement of the place, and got home, lifted weights, yelled at Greg for not playing Crimsonland, and of course blogged.

Today's Theory (hope you like it)
Falling on the Sword
I don't know if anyone who pays attention to this blog watches / reads news, but oh well.
Recently, George W. Bush has come under fire for including a statement which was known to be untrue in his State of the Union address, which came at the time the administration was making a push for war. George W. Tenet, head of the CIA, an appointee under the Clinton Administration took the fall, saying that his agency should have never allowed the statement into the speech, which bolstered the case for war. To many Americans this may seem like an honest mistake. But according to this article on Commondreams: Link, the CIA warned Bush ahead of time. Also, it has come to light that both the State department and Cheney new the info was false, but that's not the way the story's coming off. He lied, people. The president lied. I'm sick and tired of people thinking that this adminsitration is actually trying to serve the best interest of the country. It's not. It never was. It's all an elaborate illusion designed to make you think that way. -End Rant-

Lay-Z day

Today is yet another "nothing" day. I'm going up to the dells tonight, though. So hopefully that will be cool. I woke up this morning (no more roofers, yay) with my jaw and face, back, and joints pounding with pain. I dunno why, but I had a rough night. Anyway, I ate my bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats, showered, shaved (trimmed the ol' bizeard), and read some Patriot Games, played some Frozen Throne, and then I watched some Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and then I blogged. Now I gotta pack my bags for the dizells, yo.

Lannage ctd.

god damn this blog. Sometimes it really pisses me off. Like when it deletes my just-finished posts *sigh*

Okay, so I fell asleep around 5am at Reebz's, woke up around 11 / 12 and then my mom came and yelled at me at Alex's to go to my voice lesson. I drove home, showered, grabbed my Johnny Cash music and headed to my voice lesson. After voice, I went back to the lan. We played some Frozen Throne, which pizoned us all very generally. Then I packed up, did some cleaning, setting up, etc. After that, I fell asleep, used my computer, went to bed, finished Animal Farm and tried to get some sleep.

Then the roofers came. Constant pounding starting at 8am this morning and not stopping until 4:45 pm. Makes it hard to sleep. But we needed a new roof, so I guess that's good. Mainly today I just loafed around, though I did lift weights, and beat the 2nd campaign of Frozen Throne. I made some Easy Mac, um... ate a sandwich. That's pretty much it, yep. *sigh*

Ughh Shift

I had the shift from hell today - 10:30am 'til 4:15pm. 5:45 in total, so I got a break but no lunch. If I would've worked fifteen minutes more, I would have had a lunch, but oh no, oh wait - they don't - cuz it's a PG movie. Then, I went home, then we lanned, went to Woodman's, got a pizza, went to Wendy's w/ Curt and Danny and the F150.

Whoops

I thought that I had to work this morning (Cart Attending) at 10am, but that's next week, not this week! I have to work today at 6pm-close. It's all copasetic though, as I went home and took a nap, watched Wimbledon, played some Crimsonland, blogged, etc. Not much new to report other than that. Doesn't look like I'm working a lot this week. Work was pretty slow. My hamstring continued bothering me as it has for the last couple of weeks, which has me somewhat worried. I got my photos back from the road trip, and they are available online, so if anyone wants some of the roll, e-mail me. I've been playing lots of computer games lately, listening to some old school hip-hop, Tribe Called Quest, etc.

Day Off

I've got the day off today. But I woke up at 6am (went to bed at 2am) and felt sick. I dry heaved and then felt a lot better. Then I went to the bank and returned my defective router. After that, I played a lot of Crimsonland. This game is addictive as all hell. Then at 10pm, I went to see Terminator 3 with Greg and Jerome. Everyone thought it was good, though I had more problems with it than they did. Also, I played some Frozen Throne w/ Roho's Brother (Tony).

4th of July

Well, the fourth of July has come and gone, and what a day it was. I worked from 9:00am to 3:45pm and got time and a half, woo-hoo! Many middle-aged women apparently commented on my appearance, which was again apparently pleasing. After work, I went to Best Buy, bought a (soon to be found out) defective 802.11b router, then cleaned house for our party, went to Shopko, which was closed, then to the West Side Target to pick up a Weber Grill accessory holder (grabbed the last one).

Our party lasted until about 11:30pm tonight. There were lots of fun, food friends, etc (mainly friends of my parents and their kids). We lit off maybe 40 fireworks, and that was a lot of fun as well. Everyone walked down to Winnequah Park to watch the fireworks and I went on a ride w/ Whitney, Melissa, Megan, her friend (Claire) and Josh. It was ok. The fireworks were over by the time we got off, and the bugs were horrible.

Recently, I also picked up Copies of Frozen Throne, and Planetside, which I have yet to play. God, I'm so busy with work, and I'm still writing Thank You Cards
