Ice cream and other things to make you cold

It's cold. No one will deny that. So it's a good time to be doing things like having a sore knee, throwing babies off of balconies and listening to better music than you are. Don't even try to dispute that last one, because you know it's true, and it's probably why you're reading this.

Check out the new Codeseven album "Dancing Echoes / Dead Sounds." The singer sounds a little bit like Robert Smith from the Cure and a little bit like the lead singer from Blindside. It's more mellow than Blindside, and their orchestral and melodic arrangements are out of this world. The band manages to keep every song right on the edge of tension without exploding and having to build back up again. They're clearly musicians of a higher order.

P.S. I'm planning on eating Ice Cream with one Max Coller today.
