Going Away

Thanksgiving break has come and gone, and that makes me so very sad. The times I share with my friends from high school are the greatest any person could ever ask for. And as everyone scatters back to their respective corners of the country, I can't help but feel a bit pained, even though I know that we will reunite in three weeks. The stupid jokes, the awful bowling, the car ride sing-alongs, the trips to Woodman's to buy Mountain Dew MDX (digressing for a moment, does the X stand for 'extreme'?), the movies, the food. This is the part of the blog where I'm supposed to insert some over-used, overdone, and mostly meaningless quote. But these times are above that.

Barry

Dear bloggles (that's like friends but blog-style),

I'm posting ye old weekend update in hopes that I might keep some of you informed as to exactly what's going on in my life. So, what's going on? I'm busy, busy busy. Flying out on Wednesday, to San Diego (again, very excited), two exams, a massive programming project, work with Netnerds (*shameless plug*), and trying to catch some shut eye in the mean time. I won't have any free time for the next week or so, but feel free to send an e-mail, facebook message, or even use ye old cell phone.

Cheers,
Kerry

P.S. You should definitely check out the album 'You Came Here Last Year for Sunset' by The Stars of Track and Field. It is Amazing

South By Southwest

Things are looking to be kicking up in a pretty big fashion this week, with an exam on Tuesday, and two more next week. I'm headed to San Diego for an interview with Intuit on the 16th of November, and I'm elated. In other news, I saw Murder by Death this week. Always a great show.

More to come.
