Legoland Sucks

I certainly love Lego's, most would say more than most. Fueled by my love for Lego's, I headed to Legoland this Sunday.... What a piece of crap. Legoland is designed for 7 year olds, and reeks of diapers. And what, pray tell would you expect from Legoland, everything made out of Lego's? Hardly... Most structures are made of concrete and steel, a far cry from the shiny plastic I grew up with.

Adding insult to injury, many of the lego creations were in need of a touch up: colors faded and bricks that seemed to have come off of the Berlin wall abounded. You'd expect the food to be lego-shaped, but there was none of that either, just a $9.95 'Knight's Feast', that consisted of some chicken, and potatoes.

Legoland even managed to do a disservice to everyone's favorite theme park fixture: pirates. Yes, they fucked up pirates, as well. The 'Pirate Island' had no Lego's, and what's more, was just a kid's playground. There were no pirates in sight.

Maybe the crappiness of Legoland is why Lego is closing their only manufacturing facility in the United States. Serves 'em right.

P.S. Legoland costs $53 to get in...
